I am a Licensed Professional Counselor. I graduated in 2019 from Virginia Commonwealth University with a Master of Science in Rehabilitation and Mental Health Counseling. I graduated in 2006 from Virginia Commonwealth University with a Master of Teaching in Elementary Education. I have been working with children, adolescents, and their families for 20+ years. I have experience working in a public school setting where I have guided children and their families both academically and emotionally. I also have experience working with children, adolescents, and their families in crisis at a crisis stabilization unit, where I lead group therapy, individual therapy, and family therapy. I have had the privilege of providing telehealth therapy to clients of all ages for the past year and half.
As a mental health therapist, I take pride in developing a confidential, trusting, non-judgmental, and empathetic rapport. I have a profound love for helping others and look forward to helping you. Together, we can overcome, face and cope with your challenges. I believe in you. It is my goal to build a trusting, confidential, nonjudgmental, and empathetic rapport with each of you.
